Dependable Computing / Secure Computing / Distributed Systems / Artificial Intelligence Applications
If information systems become dysfunctional due to failures or malicious activities, significant losses may occur for individuals and society. Our laboratory conducts research aimed at realizing safe, secure, and dependable information systems. In particular, we focus on technologies that enhance the reliability of semiconductors and networks, which constitute fundamental infrastructures supporting modern information systems. In recent years, our research has especially addressed the application of artificial intelligence to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) in LSI design, as well as improving reliability and safety in ad hoc networks and in-vehicle networks.
