Our research focuses on leveraging Deep Neural Networks (DNN) for advanced biological image analysis. Our core projects include the high-precision, automatic detection of chromosome abnormalities (such as breaks and twists) in microscopic cell images to support the investigation of disease causes, the quantitative analysis of DNA dynamics using DNA fiber images, and the optimization of deep learning model architectures.
