Our laboratory conducts data science research grounded in data engineering, with a strong emphasis on practical applications. We are particularly focused on developing an analytical framework for big data that is enriched with temporal and spatial information, such as latitude and longitude. Our research is directly applicable to the methods for collecting, storing, analyzing, and visualizing the vast amounts of data shared on social networking services.
