High-Performance Large-Scale Computing / Mathematical Modeling and AI for Societal Challenges / Large-Scale System Design and Integration / Advanced Networked Storage
Our research is built on GPU-accelerated massively parallel computing for large-scale FDTD simulations of electromagnetic fields and bioheat transport. We also develop neural-network-based surrogate models that solve partial differential equations at drastically reduced computational cost. By integrating mathematical modeling with AI, we address societal challenges in electromagnetic environments—ranging from biological effect assessment of millimeter-wave and terahertz radiation to optimal design of wireless power transfer systems. In addition, we pursue the design and integration of large-scale computing infrastructure and advanced networked storage to support these computationally intensive research activities.
