Science for Instagrammable / Geo-social Survey / Visualization / Spatio-temporal Sata Processing

Our research group focuses on web science and web engineering, especially on algorithms for Georeferenced social data. Our interest is in the realization of new surveying technology. This surveying technology can visualize the real world by surveying the virtual world of SNS.

We are also studying the possibilities of media for SNS using stereoscopic cameras and 360-degree cameras. These technologies removed various technical limitations of ordinary cameras and gave users a new media expression method. For example, we don't need to point the 360 degree camera in the direction of the subject. In the first place, what is "the subject" with a 360-degree camera? We study a spatio-temporal data processing algorithm for this spherical image.
